Turn the Beat around with hot Brazilian rhythms!

Scottsdale, Arizona – November 12, 2009 – Afro:Baile Records on December 3rd will release the much anticipated album titled Brazil:Sambossica 2. The latest title is delivered by Afro:Baile Records founder DJ Seduce. The titled CD “Brazil:Sambossica 2” follows the victory of the highly successful debut album titled – Brazil:Sambossica 1 released in November 2008. The latest title introduces 12 new artists and songs that take you on an eclectic trip through the various styles of Brazilian rhythms of today; designed to keep your body moving to the beat, while enveloping you with Sambas, Ponderios, heavy drum and bass, soul, jazz, and electronica sounds.

The new compilation captures an array of musical styles including renditions stemming from Rio De Janeiro to Sao Paulo, across to Barcelona Spain, and returning to the United States. The “organic groove” delivered by this mix incorporates all the traditional elements and new age fusion that is guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving or grooving you in your seat while driving. The “Brazil:Sambossica 2” CD release event will unfold together with “Leandro Barbosa’s Brazilian Bash” Charity Event on December 3rd, 2009 at 7PM, at Maria Maria Restaurant, located 2000 East Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, Arizona.

Songs like “Tribo Gandhista”, which ignites the pure sounds of Carnival in the heavy drumbeats with a live horn section and soulful vocals of Katia Moraes, to “Banda e Pandeiro”, a grooving pandeiro-driven song laced with soul and drumbeats. “Vai Dar Samba” is a traditional approach taking you down memory lane with heavy influences and resemblances to the late & great Tim Maia. The 12-featured tracks represent the new direction for Brazilian music, one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world.

Compiled by DJ Seduce, a Brazilian music advocate and Founder of Afro-Baile Records, the decision of selecting the CD tracks is always a challenge due to the amazing talent in Brazil. But nonetheless, he has found 12 artists who represent the worldwide direction of Brazilian Rhythms.
