Brian “HEAD” Welch to hold Open Auditions for band members to go on tour.

brian-head-welchAZR Exclusive BREAKING NEWS: Brian “Head” Welch has seemingly reconsidered holding closed-only band auditions; opting instead to allow anyone with talent the chance to audition for a spot in his band.

Last month “Head”  announced that he will be touring in the upcoming year to support his solo release titled Save me from Myself. The bad news for some band-member-hopefuls is that the auditions were closed to the public.

This news changes everything!

There is a first round screening process that is set to close on February 2nd  – So if you were hoping to audition, get off your butt and do it — now’s your chance!

Here are audition the details from Driven Music Group:

Needless to say, Driven received many, many, many inquiries from many of you requesting a chance to be considered for Head’s Touring Band. Well, we have some good news for some of you. Due to the extremely high interest from many of you musicians from all over the world, Driven Music Group has decided to hold at least one round of OPEN auditions for the possibility of being considered for placement in Head’s Touring Band.

Applicants for Round One of OPEN AUDITIONS will be available to any interested person (male or female) who are 18 years or older, and who timely comply with the on line submission requirements (more on that below). Driven Music Group, with Head’s assistance, will review all timely submitted applications for ROUND ONE of OPEN AUDITIONS. Anyone who makes the cut, will be specifically invited to ROUND TWO AUDITIONS in Phoenix Arizona. ROUND TWO AUDITIONS WILL BE CLOSED, BY INVITATION ONLY. You CANNOT and WILL NOT be considered for a ROUND TWO invitation unless you submit and pass the ROUND ONE OPEN AUDITIONS. Again, other than those invited to ROUND TWO, it will be CLOSED to the General Public. Importantly, if you are selected for ROUND TWO, it is your responsibility to find your way to Phoenix, Arizona to attend the ROUND TWO auditions. If you cannot afford to find your way to Phoenix Arizona for ROUND TWO, do NOT submit an application for ROUND ONE. Driven will not make any exceptions under any circumstances.

ROUND ONE OPEN AUDITIONS (on line only) will commence IMMEDIATELY and will CLOSE on February 2nd. It is up to each interested party to timely comply—no exceptions and no extensions. ROUND TWO is anticipated to occur sometime the middle of February in Phoenix, Arizona. Those that are selected for ROUND TWO will be contacted directly by DRIVEN MUSIC GROUP MGT. DRIVEN MUSIC will set ONE DATE and ONE DATE only for ROUND TWO—no changes, no exceptions. It will be up to you to meet the date, or forego the opportunity.

TO SUBMIT TO ROUND ONE, please go to www.brianheadwelchband.com and follow the instructions precisely!!!
