“As many of our fans know, they have and well as we have been waiting for our debut to come out for sometime now. The music biz is in a mess right now, Finally we have found a new home with Crash and EMI! I have known Mark for along time and with his new deal with EMI, this deal just made perfect sense for us. We have the utmost respect for him and the whole team he has assembled there, and with EMI’s distribution network, our fans way out in the sticks will be able to find this cd. The concept for the album cover and the cool marketing we have planned will make this release very exciting for all involved. They sure aren’t wasting anytime getting to work”.

What more can be said about a band totally built on hard work and no easy gifts. Kicking K8 has taken their internal drive and taken the band to places very few of their peers have seen in a very short amount of time.

What started out as a jam band around Pacific Beach, CA. in late 2005 has turned into one of the most sought after live acts to come out of San Diego in some time. National radio airplay and interviews on top modern rock stations, such as San Diego’s Rock 105.3,  WJJO, 90FM, K-BEAR, KOMP,  KUPD, and Rebel Radio. They also made  appearances on numerous radio fests, including repeat appearances at WJJO’s BAND CAMP, where they will make an appearance again next year.

They have been included on the last three Jagermeister Music Tours, playing shows alongside the likes of Disturbed, Stone Sour, Staind, Three Days Grace, and more. The band has played 160 shows in 10 states, with no label support.

The band also recently filmed multiple appearances for the ESPN racing reality series American Dragster.  The bands debut CD “Score” will be released via Crash Music on April 21, 2009, and distributed by EMI.
