The Eagles to play Phoenix! on Jan27 2010

Tickets On Sale Monday, February 8 at 10 a.m.

The Eagles will be headlining in Phoenix at US Airways Center on April 21st on their “Long Road Out of Eden” tour. The Eagles – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit – will perform hits from their chart- topping Long Road Out of Eden album as well as classic selections from the group’s unparalleled songbook.

Advanced tickets will go on sale to American Express® Cardmembers beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 1st at 10 AM through Sunday, February 7th at 10 PM.  Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 8th.

Long Road Out of Eden debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, with sales of 711,000 units, and in only 9 weeks became the biggest selling album by a group in 2007, according to Nielsen SoundScan.  The Eagles won two GRAMMY® Awards for songs from the album.

The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earning five #1 U.S. singles and six GRAMMY® Awards.  Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best-selling album of all time, exceeding sales of 29 million units.  The band’s Hotel California and Their Greatest Hits Volume 2 have sold more than 16 and 11 million albums respectively.
